Pewter Pendant featuring Sleipnir, the magical eight legged horse of Odin.
In the story of how the walls of Asgard were rebuilt, a giant, disguised as an old man, uses a magical horse to aid him in tricking the gods. Loki takes the form of a mare to lure the magic horse away, so the giant loses his bet of repairing the walls of the Aesir's home in time.
Sometime later Loki returns to Asgard leading a beautiful eight legged foal that he gives to Odin as a gift. The foal grows into a powerful and fast steed that can carry Odin across the Nine worlds. He is named Sleipnir, meaning "Slippy" or "Slipper"
